Enlisting low-code and no-code platforms as a business solution is not new. However, in the age of COVID-19, where IT teams are being tasked to their breaking point and companies are rethinking their business models, more and more enterprises are turning to low-code and no-code platforms. Simply put, developers need to accomplish more in less time. Drawing from examples like 23andMe and Cornell University, this presentation will look at: - How low code enabled companies in a hectic 2020 to enact new, critical applications - What it would take for low-code to lower the skills gap in 2021 and allow companies to upskill employees on easy-to-use platforms that do the heavy lifting for them - How low code will drive the adoption of other innovations like AI over the next year, making them more accessible
